I have medium and large IRIS floor protection holding devices, and use all IRIS’s products religiously. I usually put down a clean large on the bottom, then a clean medium over it. I actually thought I was buying the 17″ by 23″ (medium size), so was a bit disappointed when I got the 17″ by 17″ (small). That being said, they are still serve a great need.
My two yorkies can be a bit persnickety and will sometimes use the floor if there is one pee on the large pad, so I simply place the small one on top of the soiled area resulting in the yorkies making better use of the large pad. Sometimes they pee on the little one again (must be the area they like to pee in), so I just replace it with another small pad. The small pads are excellent in extending the life and use of the large floor protection pads.
